Vos Lane
Completing the Hudson courtyard complex on the West side, the Vos Lane development includes three levels of underground parking, retail showrooms at ground level, three floors of offices and a penthouse apartment above.
The composition of this 9 storey building responds sensitively to the typical two storey facades of the Loader Street special conservation area which it faces. This was achieved by stepping back the façade after every two floors, echoing the size, bulk and scale of the forms typical to this historic neighbourhood.

The unique combination of offices, retail spaces and a gym on the ground floor provides a vibrant energy to the courtyard.
On the first floor, a unique live/work space, designed for a large oil company to accommodate out of town visitors, combines office and residential functions in one dynamic space.
At an urban design level, the building offers pedestrian links to the city and the Loader Street area, while an open air footbridge over the courtyard, allows the entrance, security, lifts and underground parking to be shared between the Hudson and Vos Lane buildings.
